Several years ago my mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease and eventually had to be admitted to an assisted living facility. During the time she was in the assisted living facility, I was able to watch her participate in some of the activities available to her and the other residents. The activity director told me about the challenges involved in providing safe movement activities for the residents. She also mentioned that it can be difficult to get residents to participate. This is where the inspiration to develop StyroMotion™ first started.
